Every run begins at level one

Davy starts each attempt from the first level, but progress earned earlier helps him grow faster. The developers say a strong build can reach its maximum level in about thirty minutes. This makes each run a quick search for a useful combination rather than a slow climb through the same early statistics.

Defeated enemies provide abilities and resources. Players can change Davy’s combat Style and replace body parts with Overtech equipment. Overtech pieces improve statistics and can unlock active or passive skills, so choosing a new part can change both the damage output and the way a build is controlled.

Davy Burst provides a short period of extreme power

Davy Burst is a temporary powered state that pushes the current build beyond its normal limits. It is designed for difficult groups of enemies and moments when ordinary attacks are not enough. The system rewards timing because activating the burst too early can leave it unavailable for a more dangerous fight.

The game also offers several monster-inspired Styles, including Werewolf, Harpy, Golem and Vampire forms. A Style changes the abilities available to Davy, while Overtech modifies the body around that foundation. The two systems allow a run to move in a different direction even when the same Style appears again.

Julia died during the Great War in the game’s fictional world

Davy finds Julia’s frozen body and wants to bring her back to life. She died during the Great War described by the game, not during the historical First World War. Dr. Frank directs Davy towards the dungeon and the King of Monsters, where the knowledge needed for Julia’s return may be hidden.

The story uses a dark starting point but presents it with bright colours, exaggerated body changes and physical comedy. Davy begins as a timid and unusually weak zombie, which makes his rapid transformations part of both the combat system and the humour.

Two editions and a free demo are available

GPTRACK50 developed the game, while SEGA is involved in international publishing. The standard edition costs 49.99 dollars. The 59.99-dollar Glorious Idiot Edition adds the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack with cosmetic and audio effects.

A free demo called First Bite lets players test the combat before buying the full game. The PC version requires 22 GB of storage, and the game also supports PlayStation 5. These confirmed release details are more useful than assuming limits on how many upgrades a player can collect during a run.
