Who the regional selections are

In EMEA, Kachoww is the youngest of the highlighted names at 17. Fire Flux made a deep run to fourth, giving a Challengers-origin roster visibility against established opposition. The selection emphasizes how far that run carried individual talent without turning fourth place into a Champions berth. OXY is a more familiar name in the Americas. THESPIKE identifies the Cloud9 player as its regional standout even though Cloud9 did not reach the international event. That contrast is the point of including him, not an invitation to describe Cloud9’s whole season through one player’s performance.

China’s swagzor joined Nova Esports in April and helped a roster that also finished fourth in Stage 2. Pacific’s endoistzin joined Xipto ahead of Stage 2 and was 19 at the time of the review. The reported choices put newer talent beside an established regional star. They do not all have the same experience, role or tournament path, so a direct numerical comparison would need a clearly defined metric and sample. The news is which players the review singled out across the four regions, and that their strong individual displays did not translate into Champions appearances.

There is a tempting statistical shortcut to avoid. Earlier reporting on Kachoww mentioned 499 Average Combat Score, 310 Average Damage per Round and 1.93 kills per round as record performances. Those figures should not be repeated as his average across all of Stage 2. A single exceptional match or map and a stage-wide aggregate answer different questions. Mixing them would exaggerate the gap between players and distort the reason they appear in a cross-region feature.

The same caution applies to the word ‘best’. THESPIKE’s four regional selections are an editorial assessment informed by performance; they are not a Riot-issued award or a universal ranking that can settle every role comparison. A duelist’s combat numbers, a team’s finish and an international qualification slot describe different things. Putting them side by side is valuable only when each keeps its own label. It is possible to recognize the four players’ Stage 2 impact while leaving the official Champions field and results to the competition itself.

What the Shanghai absence tells us

Champions Shanghai begins on September 24, and its participants are teams that qualified through the competitive route, not an all-star collection drawn from regional performance lists. The absence of all four named standouts illustrates that team advancement and individual attention can diverge. Fire Flux and Nova both reached fourth in their regional Stage 2 events, but that finish did not place Kachoww or swagzor on the Shanghai stage. OXY and endoistzin are likewise highlighted for their play rather than announced as Champions participants.

For viewers, the comparison offers a sensible way to revisit Stage 2 before the international event starts. It points toward players and teams whose seasons were notable even though the Shanghai field will tell a different story. It does not establish future transfers, roster plans or a definitive ordering between regions. Those would require separate announcements or comparable data. The grounded takeaway is narrower and more interesting: strong individual seasons can be visible and worth examining even when the team’s qualification route ends short of the year’s biggest event.

Kachoww, OXY, swagzor and endoistzin are the four regional names in the September 20 Stage 2 review, and none is set to play Champions Shanghai. The comparison highlights meaningful individual performances without rewriting team qualification rules or inflating one-off records into season averages. That distinction is what makes the list useful as the international event approaches.

A September 20 review names Kachoww, OXY, swagzor and endoistzin as Stage 2 regional standouts, yet none of the four will play Champions Shanghai.

A September 20 review names Kachoww, OXY, swagzor and endoistzin as Stage 2 regional standouts, yet none of the four will play Champions Shanghai.
[7

post-5826","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news

!["Conceptual]("https://valorant.casecs2.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/kachoww-challengers.jpg")
