FURIA has allowed koalanoob and C0M to explore offers as restricted free agents ahead of the 2027 VALORANT season. Both players confirmed that they can speak with other organizations, but neither announcement ends their FURIA contract by itself. The decision follows a year that began with a VCT Americas Kickoff title and ended after repeated roster changes.<\/p>\n

koalanoob joined as part of FURIA’s major 2026 rebuild. The initial roster combined him with eeiu, alym, nerve and artzin, creating a young lineup with experience across multiple regions and development systems. The group immediately justified the overhaul by defeating KRU, Sentinels, G2 and MIBR on the way to the Americas Kickoff trophy.<\/p>\n

That title qualified FURIA for Masters Santiago. Consecutive playoff defeats ended its international run, but the team returned to league play with real evidence that the new structure could beat leading Americas opponents. The difficulty was sustaining that level once teams had more film and the season moved into longer stages.<\/p>\n

An early Stage 1 playoff exit against NRG triggered the first significant changes. FURIA removed nerve and alym and added Shyy and basic for Stage 2. The adjustments did not produce immediate stability, and an opening loss to LEVIATAN led to another move: C0M replaced eeiu in the Initiator role.<\/p>\n

Their FURIA timelines tell different stories<\/h2>\n

koalanoob experienced the complete season, from the original rebuild through the Kickoff victory and later changes. His career before FURIA included NAVI, Ghost Gaming and repeated Ascension campaigns with M80. That history makes him a known quantity across both Tier 1 and promotion-focused environments.<\/p>\n

C0M joined much later. The former world champion entered during Stage 2, when the team was already trying to correct earlier problems. FURIA failed to win a match in the Stage 2 group, improved enough to show more resistance in Play-Ins and then fell short again in the playoffs. His individual evaluation therefore comes from a shorter and less stable sample inside this roster.<\/p>\n

The different timelines matter for interested teams. koalanoob can be assessed across FURIA’s entire rise and decline, while C0M’s record must be separated from a system he joined in motion. C0M also carries extensive experience from Evil Geniuses and LEVIATAN, including the 2023 Champions title with EG.<\/p>\n

Restricted free agency is not the same as an unconditional release. FURIA still holds the players’ contracts while allowing discussions with potential destinations. Any move may require an agreement between organizations unless the contract status changes later.<\/p>\n

No destination, transfer fee or contract deadline was confirmed in the announcements. That means roster predictions should remain separate from the news. Teams can express interest and negotiations can occur without producing a signed deal.<\/p>\n

VLR’s roster listing after the update included artzin, basic and Shyy as the remaining active players, with shaW and Kamino on the coaching staff. That is a partial structure rather than a confirmed five-player lineup for 2027. FURIA must decide whether to replace both restricted free agents, retain one or negotiate a different rebuild.<\/p>\n

FURIA must separate its peak from its finish<\/h3>\n

The Kickoff championship proved that the original roster could win a major regional event. The later stages proved that early success did not automatically create season-long consistency. A productive review must identify which systems drove the title and which problems remained after multiple personnel changes.<\/p>\n

For koalanoob and C0M, the permission to explore creates leverage and uncertainty at the same time. Each can evaluate projects before FURIA finalizes its plan, but a restricted status can make negotiations more complex than a normal free-agent signing.<\/p>\n

The next dependable updates will be official transfers, releases or a FURIA roster announcement. Until then, both players are available for conversations rather than confirmed departures. That wording preserves the contractual reality while still recognizing that the organization is open to change.<\/p>\n
